Book review: Software Testing and Continuous Quality Improvement (Third Edition) - William E. Lewis
I recently finished reading this book. I am really impressed with the third edition. This is a good refresher for anyone involved with software development be a tester, a manager or a project team member. This is a good book for a company starting a new testing team or updating their processes.
We recently started using agile development process at work. This book really helped me define and update my test plan, risk ranking and test metrics to work with the agile framework. This book explains testing in Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) environment and the building blocks of a Testing Center of Excellence (COE).
There is also a section on free software tools and a checklist to pick the best tool that fits your organization. The book includes a CD with templates for documents discussed in the chapters.
